Why House Staging is So Important?
According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 83% of buyers’ agents stated that staging a home made it easier for buyers to visualize the property as their future home.
The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) reported that staged homes spent 73% less time on the market compared to non-staged homes.
RESA also found that 81% of buyers felt that staged homes were easier to imagine living in.
The NAR reports that 29% of sellers’ agents stated that staged homes resulted in a higher sale price compared to non-staged homes.
A survey conducted by Coldwell Banker Real Estate found that staged homes can potentially sell for 6% to 20% more than non-staged homes.
The survey by Coldwell Banker also revealed that 77% of buyers’ agents believed staging a home made it easier for buyers to form a connection with the property.
According to the NAR, 40% of buyers’ agents mentioned that home staging had an effect on most buyers’ view of the property.
The RESA reported that 46% of buyers were more willing to walk through a home they saw online if it was staged.
In a survey conducted by the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP), 95% of professionally staged homes sold on average within 11 days or less.
